Hosted by MEP Alessandra Moretti (Group of the Progressive Alliance of Socialists and Democrats, Italy), the event at the EU Parliament allowed to the Mission Board on Vaccination in Europe (MBVE) initiative, in which Active Citizenship Network is officially involved – to launch the MBVE Consensus Report and generate momentum around the importance of robust immunisation systems.

The Mission Board on Vaccination in Europe (MBVE) is a multi-disciplinary, multi-stakeholder thought leadership group established in 2023 under the chairmanship of Professor Walter Ricciardi. To know more Active Citizenship Network involvement on it, click here.

In line with the MBVE “mission” approach, the Consensus Report presents concrete recommendations aimed at identifying ambitious yet achievable targets for strengthening vaccination policies and programs across Europe. Additionally, discussions focused on the next steps for implementing MBVE recommendations, particularly looking towards the implementation phase.
